Another cracker

Really enjoying this series of books. Amazed they’re free.
Funny, I didn’t have a bad word to say about the first 5 books - but now I do I write a review!!
That said I’m giving 5 stars as I have loved the series.
In this book though I literally laughed out loud at one part. Two famous people (no spoilers) we’re in the story. Poor Charlie Thurston had to do his best impression. Wow. Stick to reading Charlie 😂
Keep writing these Shawn. Great work.

A great story but........

A great story and well worth a listen ( I'm hooked now) but the first few seconds of many chapters were missing. Minor detail but irksome.

Easy Listen

Charlie Thurston did a very decent job on this work. Would listen to him again.

The story is a fairly typical relive-your-past-life tale. In fact there are so many of these that it is almost a sub-genre in itself. It caters to our nostalgia and desire to have done things differently.

Joe Hart does exactly that and benefits from the foresight none of us have in real life. So that side of the book gives an easy listen. The months and years fly by like a movie calendar and lack real depth.

On the plus side Shaun Immon parables lessons in overcoming isolation. From seeking counseling, support groups to volunteering. He does this very well and speaks from his own experiences. Which he explains in the post script.

There is some genuine laughter here and a sense of optimism. I would probably listen to another.
