Another cracker

Really enjoying this series of books. Amazed they’re free.
Funny, I didn’t have a bad word to say about the first 5 books - but now I do I write a review!!
That said I’m giving 5 stars as I have loved the series.
In this book though I literally laughed out loud at one part. Two famous people (no spoilers) we’re in the story. Poor Charlie Thurston had to do his best impression. Wow. Stick to reading Charlie 😂
Keep writing these Shawn. Great work.

A great story but........

A great story and well worth a listen ( I'm hooked now) but the first few seconds of many chapters were missing. Minor detail but irksome.

Easy Listen

Charlie Thurston did a very decent job on this work. Would listen to him again.

The story is a fairly typical relive-your-past-life tale. In fact there are so many of these that it is almost a sub-genre in itself. It caters to our nostalgia and desire to have done things differently.

Joe Hart does exactly that and benefits from the foresight none of us have in real life. So that side of the book gives an easy listen. The months and years fly by like a movie calendar and lack real depth.

On the plus side Shaun Immon parables lessons in overcoming isolation. From seeking counseling, support groups to volunteering. He does this very well and speaks from his own experiences. Which he explains in the post script.

There is some genuine laughter here and a sense of optimism. I would probably listen to another.

Time Travel Masterpiece #6

I love this series! even though the types of events, people, places are typical across the country (except for the actual rebirth/reincarnation-like event itself), these books do not get boring at all. I like that almost everything (except as previously mentioned) is believable. The author makes you care about the characters - even those that need more "time" to learn how to be people you want to care about. I also like how the various characters from different books in the series cross paths from time to time and share nuggets of wisdom.

I'm so excited about the next book about Scott from this book. ~ JTC ~

addictive and awesome series

this is an awesome series with so many different personalities in each new character. it never gets boringly repetitive like some series I've listened to. I'm also enjoying the authors notes at the end giving insight to some of the details.
keep them coming please.

Good book. Bad editing

I love the book. It's not perfect, but it feels like a return to the glory of the first 2-3 books.
What bugged me was that whenever I set the book to end automatically after a chapter, it cuts abruptly a second too early, in mid word.
I have listened to many chapters of many books on audible, and it had NEVER happened before on ANY book. It happens here quite a bit. Set it to sleep. See for yourself.

Can’t get enough of this series!

Another great Middle Falls time traveler book. Shawn Inmon has this knack of putting something so relatable in every single character in these books that you are immediately invested in their challenges and successes. Keep writing!

A Beautiful Tear Jerker

I think this may be my very favourite book out of the 6 that I've read. This series has made me look forward to dying just in case I get to redo my life. If I don't well I'll never know! I cannot wait to go onto book 7!
This book was truly wonderful and it would have been amazing if the terrible thing's in the past could have been really changed!

Good, but not my favorite Shawn Imnon book

I have been working my way through this time travel series and am still a huge fan! This was not one of my favorite books in the series but it was still good :-)

May have run the gamut on this series.

I love Sci-Fi and I’m a big fan of the idea of time travel, but it seems like the author is working at the lowest denominator in this story; grasping for new ideas or new ways to express the ones he’s already covered. When the character tries to prevent a high profile, real-life murder, the story just gets embarrassing, especially for the poor narrator who tries and fails to voice these iconic figures. It didn’t work. I wanted to be engrossed, but it left me thinking it’s time for a new idea for the author to run with. Write one or two really great stories instead of sucking the life out of the idea with five or six.

Enjoyable

I’ve really love every one of these books. This one in particular having grown up in the Washington and hearing some of the things that had happened as I grew up, personalizes it for me, actually with in the whole series. I remember May 18th 1980 sitting on my couch and feeling the eruption. Also, the mention of JP, I was on his show in 1975. And, the killer from the river, took a relative of mine. When this one ended I immediately went to the next. Can’t wait to find out what life leads to next. I was vague on characters, I don’t want to give things away. I’ve never written a review but, I’ve enjoyed them all and this one I finally had to put in my point. Awesome!
