  • Coping with stressful times like exams
  • Balancing powerful feelings and emotions in an effective way
  • Navigating interpersonal relationships effectively
  • Overcoming rejections and failures

The best book ever written on the subject

The book is broken down into sections or themes - and each theme is almost like a self contained book. This definitely makes consumption easier for a generation that seems to have no end to the amount of distractions they are bombarded with. The gamification elements make it fun as well.

There's a lot of tried and true stuff like mindfulness, but the book also goes one layer deeper like dealing with the emotions behind your emotions.

The terminology used is simple, and a breath of fresh air seeing as so many books on this topic are dry and read like textbooks.

A wealth of benifits

The book is beautifully well written in touches up on all the important points of DBT. I have learned so much about myself thanks to this work book and I have learned how to better manage my emotions and stress. so many invaluable skills about how to reduce anxiety. Not only that but my overall understanding of anxiety has increased which makes me feel os much better and confident in myself. The book also included so many engaging activities which is always nice.

Complete!

Each chapter is its own with different themes, and provides incredible depth on each topic. I really enjoyed the way this book has been written, and the narrating was also pleasant. It really is a workbook and the tasks are very useful for exploring/getting to understand one's emotions, something that's ever so important when as a teenager, we're still trying to figure this all out, and there's often intense pressure. A teen will definitely pick up new skills such as mindfulness and how to handle certain emotions and situations. This would be an asset to any school or even household.
