More dark and gruesome hilarity

This one was absolutely marvelous. A literary festival with gruesome murders and cats, all read by Jenny Funnell who narrates perfectly. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series.

Can't get enough of Hettie & Tilly.....

Wow!!! Well, this book could be retitled Feline Midsomer Murders. This is a roller-coaster ride with some very amusing but dark happenings at a 2 day literary festival (or as they brilliantly named it a littertray festival) the puns just keep coming as does the delicious Butters pies, pasties, cream horns, sausage rolls, bacon baps. I suggest you eat before you listen to this as it will most definitely make you hungry. Jenny Funnell is such a fantastic narrator, and the way she just sucks you into the story. It's an absolute Joy!!! I'm about to start no 4. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Fabulously Grisly

I've really enjoyed this series. It's gentle narration, warmth of characters and brutal murderous crimes are a winning combination. The hilariously unethical solutions to some of the crimes are brilliant and this installment has been my favourite. If you enjoyed the 1st book, but we're not as enamoured by the 2nd, then you should definitely give this 3rd story a listen
