Summary
Lutz is finally on a path of salvation, thanks to Miri and the Goddess. But clearing his name won't be an easy task, and it's only one of many obstacles sitting in his path.
He was given a clear mission by the Goddess. To seek out the Dragon Lord and gain access to the Network Node that he rules over. With a goal in front of him, Lutz and the girls depart to the south, toward the Dragon Isles. But first, they have to pass through Belfast, a kingdom of beastkin. And Alisha's home country.
As expected, trouble has a way of finding Lutz, no matter where he goes. And now that he's walking the path of a true hero, he can't rely on his False Hero persona to solve the problems in Belfast.

Good book apart from chapter 10,
it's a good book but at the end of chapter 10 there is some of the story missing from the written book.

An enjoyable continuation
As the title says, the story continues at a steady and fun pace whilst adding more world-building and revealing some ancient mysteries.
The combat scenes are descriptive and thought provoking as usual. The humour and chemistry between the main cast is as good as ever including some everyone’s favourite catchphrases.
As for performance, the narrator has improved throughout the series, but there are a couple moments in this one where I feel the immersion break somewhat. Particularly in the first chapter where it feels like the narrator is speaking really fast. I double checked audible to make sure it was on 1x speed and not 1.25x or the like. Other than that, there were occasional breaks and pauses in sentences at parts that make the sentence sound odd. Other than that, I don’t see any other glaring things to point out so overall 5 star and 4 for narration, but I’m sure that the narrator will have grown further when book 9 arrives.
