A decent story from the “second five year voyage”
Great story that brings back characters and links to a number of the Original Series episodes and provides a reasonably consistent explanation for some of the experiences from those episodes.

action stations
a great listen
as a trekki this book was fantastic,
the narrator got all the voices perfecto. you actually think it is the real deal he has them that good,
the story too, top quality. i knew exactly what was going on due to watching the original series and had pictures of all the characters in my mind. the characters kept referring to incidents in the tv series and this book answered an awful lot of questions too and just when you thought it was done BANG! it was like i got an extra book chipped in part 2 lol. as a trucker i listen to books for a while on long journeys. this one was on till the end more or less. i just liked it and believe it is one of the best trek books i have listened too. if your a fan of the original series like myself, GET IT! you won't be disappointed.
