Brilliant series

Very enjoyable series ,really brings history to life. Good narration, and kept me wanting to listen to the next chapter. You must start at no 1 in the series

This series is absolutely brilliant. Yet again, Griff hosker has produced a series of books that are hard to put down, thank goodness book 8 in the series is on it's way, I can't wait.

excellent

advancing the story of Henry 1st champion, fights against Scots, Norman's, French, the holy roman empire, and rebel English, the king has enemies everywhere and an heir only a toddler. the child's mother matilda is also in danger, and our hero splits time between Normandy and the NE of England.
Great tale of war and intrigue, researched well with a cast of varied characters, describing every day life and battles intricately.
malk Williams gives another masterly performance, can't wait for book 8 as civil war between matilda and Stephen is about to flare.

Excellent

Outstanding book based on historical fact but wrapped in fictional intrigue. On to the next saga with relish.
