Summary
Charles Waters has 30 days to live. Those days pass in a blur and he dies a quiet, unnoticed death.
He opens his eyes back in the doctor's office as he is told, "I'm sorry to say, but you have 30 days to live."
Thus begins The Many Short Lives of Charles Waters, who has to live the same 30 days over and over while he finds out what it is to be alive.
The Many Short Lives of Charles Waters is the 12th book in the Middle Falls Time Travel series. Like all Middle Falls books, it is a standalone novel. These can be listened to in any order.

Heartwarming but not cloying
Well read. Absorbing. Wonderful characters. Brilliant conceit. Well worth your time. Almost listened in one go - that good. Heartwarming while not inducing cardiac infarction.

My Favourite
I am completely hooked on this series and thank Audible for giving me the chance to listen to it for free. This book is by far my favourite of the Middle Falls stories. Just wish I had an Arty's Burger to go with it.

Middle falls series
For the moment, this is the last book in the series. I have enjoyed them all and they certainly make you think about your life. How you would change it if you had the chance. Thank you Shawn, for the many hours of listening. I look forward to you adding to the series.

So so..amazingly good!
I absolutely loved each and every one of these books. So thought provoking and emotional, each story had me in tears and at times had me giggling out loud. I was so engrossed in each story it felt like I was actually there, and I really did feel for the characters. I am an avid book reader now a book listener, and have read so many books in my time..none have ever left me feeling the way I do now.
I became a widow six months ago, my husband passed at just 49 years old. I have never felt pain like this. Listening to these books has helped me with my grieving. Although I wept each time a character died these stories gave me food for thought, and with that hope. Hope that indeed there is a higher realm and we all do go on.
These fantastic stories are truly remarkable. Written and narrated perfectly. Each narrator is absolutely marvellous, they bring the stories to life.
Thank you Shawn Inmon for writing these books, I will treasure them. I will also look out for your other work as you are now one of my favourite authors!

The best!
I’ve read all of the series so far and found this to be the best! I have loved every minute. Be warned…. It wouldn’t be the same if I hadn’t read the previous ones. X
