Invaluable!

Food prices are on the rise and we are constantly having to deal with natural or man-made disasters that threaten to deplete food supply. I picked this book up hoping to find ways to complement my gardening so that some of the food I get out of it does not have to go bad. I am very pleased that the book has delivered. I found the author to be really thorough in discussing things like how to prepare food for freeze drying. I love that all my questions were answered.

First off- INCREDIBLE. I started my own gardens last year and have an overflow of veg which I had no way to preserve and ended up giving it away. Not that there is anything wrong with giving away food but there is something special about being able to preserve and in this case, FREEZE DRY your own harvest. Super excited for our next pick of the garden! WOOP.

Groundbreaking tool!

I thought I knew about dry-freezing but boy oh boy was I wrong! This listen was wonderful, incredibly informative and providing all the ins and outs and must-knows to do this properly.
