About this listen
Powerful examples and techniques to help you turn your life around through positive thinking from one of the leading names in self-help literature.
Millions of people around the world have changed their lives for the better thanks to Norman Vincent Peale and his Positive Thinking philosophy. Dr. Peale's groundbreaking program of affirmation and positive visualization is an amazingly effective way to overcome any obstacles that may stand between you and success, happiness, and your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health and well-being. Positive Thinking works - and in The Power of Positive Living, Dr. Peale demonstrates how to use these techniques to conquer the fears and crippling adversity that may be holding you back from realizing your true potential in life. Self-confidence is the key, and this audiobook shows us how we can do it! With the "get-it-done twins", patience and perseverance, any believer can be an achiever!
Dr. Peale provides inspiring success stories from his own extensive experience as a counselor - such as a department store executive who turned his store into one of the chain's most profitable by focusing on his past successes rather than his failures and a woman who recovered her self-confidence and joy and purpose in living when she started volunteering with cancer survivors after her own breast cancer diagnosis cut short her modeling career. The wisdom, guidance, and practical advice provided in The Power of Positive Living will give you faith in yourself and in your power to achieve absolutely anything!

Awesome!
This book is uplifting, inspiring and practical. Dr Peel is one of the most insightful authors. I loved the book and have, and will continue to highly recommend it to all my friends and associates. I am a believer in God, and therefore finds it very spiritual, and the real life stories very powerful. I feel that even non believers can gain huge benefits from this book, as it is simply awesome.

Practical and uplifting
Some very useful suggestions - coupled with some harsh truths, gently and compassionately communicated. The narrator is excellent too.

Impactful
Norman Vincent Peele’s influence on my life can not be overemphasised. Reading his positive thinking pamphlet in those days instilled in me the drive and self-belief that led me this far. This Power of positive living is coming at the right time for me, I am using the strength of this to power through my midlife.

this is one of the most valuable books you'll ever
This book focuses on the tremendous latent power within us. How and on how to use it to get to where we want to go. Positive things and enthusiasm are the cornerstones of living. Albert Einsten said that problems cannot be resolved with the same mindset that created them. He was right, you can't find solutions when you a in a state of panic. Happy reading.

Great book, however
I first read this book as a kid and have read it many times since.
However, this audiobook is heavily abridged it’s about 1/3 of the hard copy.
It’s okay, but it should have been completed.

5 star if you're religious
5 star if you believe in God or are religious. Alot of stories and answers where believing in God sorts everything out. However if you can get past that there still some good things that can be taken away from this. Worth a listen.
