Summary
As Jon prepares for the inevitable battle with Rohaer, strategies must evolve in response to the enemy’s overwhelming advantage.
But Rohaer is not Jon’s only concern. Political players among his allies may plan to use the upcoming strife as an opportunity to grab power for themselves. Jon must protect their king from an internal betrayal at the same time that they’re defending their land from an unrelenting force bent on conquest.
Hope is on the horizon, however, when hidden truths about sorcery are uncovered. From these discoveries, a new age will dawn: the rise and fall of legends. As Jon pushes himself to his limits, he will find himself right in the middle of it all.
There’s nowhere else he’d rather be.

Brilliant !
I enjoyed every minute of this 4th book in the series. It's good to see how Jon and his friends have improved as sorcerers throughout the books, The novel is very well written, with creative passages and character development. The whole experience is enhanced by a wonderful narrator, who is, obviously, highly trained in the art.

awesome
Another excellent book in the series, can't wait for book 5. Note to author, cut the bad language from your books, it's not necessary really

The best yet
Honestly i could have listened to each of these books in one sitting if sleep wasn’t necessary. Really doesn’t get much better than this.

Only 1 left after this one
Finally got some of the backstories that i felt were missing up till now, but most of this book's story was pretty blatantly signposted.

Wow.
Fantastic as always. An excellent continuation of the story with enough content to keep you engaged. There’s no padding out here!!

Enough
I finished this with difficulty. No real character development - just more plot. Plot is not interesting when you don’t care whether the main characters live or die.
