Really poor narration
Wish I’d read the reviews and saved my credit. Couldn’t get through more than a few chapters due to the terrible narration. It’s a shame.

Classic Agatha Christie
I have listened to several Agatha Christie audiobooks narrated by Jonathan Waters, and although there are still several issues with the narration of this book it is the best one so far. The issues are mainly around inconsistencies with the voices used for the characters and also mispronunciation of words.
The story is classic Christie with lots of interesting characters, and of course lots of suspects. There are subplots and loads of twists and turns which make it a very enjoyable story.
This would have been a five star listen if only the narration was tightened up and the editing was better and had picked up the errors.

The only Agatha Christie story I struggled with!
I don't know which was worse, the ridiculously convoluted and implausible plot or the absurd voices and accents of the characters. I listened with gritted teeth. I feel I should get a medal for persevering to the bitter end.

bad reading
it was difficult to listen to because it badly pronounced many words and was stilted and wooden in delivery. I am very disappointed as I love Agatha Christie , have enjoyed reading her books and listening to other audio books of her writing.

Had to return - terrible narration
I could just about cope with an American voice narrating the story, but I couldn't cope with hearing Eton pronounced "Etton"; then Caterham pronounced Catterham finished me off.

Awful Narration
A great story massacred by an awful narrator. The reader is very stilted and over pronounces or mispronounces many of the words. It completely ruins the pithy dialogue one expects from Christie. If you still wish to read the book I would suggest a version from a different narrator.

Great story. Not best narrator
This story has so many twists and turns it kept me glued to the edge of my seat.
Sadly the narrator could have been better, an American trying to do upper-class English accent just never seems to work. Overall, a great book.

Poor performance
Sorry but the reader was not good. It’s a complicated story and it needed a great reader, this was not it.

awful narration
I have no idea if the story is good or not because I couldn't finish it. The narration was so disjointed and stilted, perhaps because it seems to be an American narrator trying to do an English accent.
