Worth your time.
There's a fair bit of puff in the early chapters about how amazing this book is, which always makes me cautious. But in fairness it does do a solid job of delivering a lot of ideas for shred-friendly recipes, and includes a helpful couple of chapters on beginner-suitable cooking techniques and equipment. There's also some basic but helpful discussion of different kinds of foods and diets that will work to support a muscle-growth program. I also liked that there is a emphasis on making foods that are enjoyable, and consequently more sustainable to eat regularly.
Criticisms would include - Very American: there's a fair few terms and measures that Brits might not be familiar with. Quite a lot of self-promotion, and as others have pointed out: no PDF.
Narrator is fine.
