A Must
Full of good science and suggestions to improve life by reducing our stress, this book is excellent. By applying Dr Chaterjee’s ideas you can reduce stress and also reduce or even eliminate the diseases it can cause. And what’s even better us you don’t have to buy a pile of expensive supplements- everything he suggests is cheap or free. Highly recommended- should be available on prescription. Plus he has a lively and engaging voice. Great.

Simple Strategies to Manage Stress
Clearly laid out, this book takes you step by step through the causes and impact of stress and outlines a variety of really effective yet simple strategies to minimise the stress of everyday life. I didn’t find my life suddenly changed overnight but I am gradually adopting the necessary changes and feel that for once I am on a journey to a happier place, rather than being stuck in a cycle of stress. The concept of MSDs is really helpful - recognising that life throws these things in our way and that we can take back control of things like social media, tech bombardment to minimise the impact so that the real stress can be dealt with. A great book for anyone wanting to cope a little better with modern living.

Revolutionary doctor
Rangan is a revolutionary doctor, and makes you realise most doctors only treats your symptoms with medicines, when his focus is on treating the root cause. It seems obvious, but all doctors I have come across always write me a prescription. I wish he could train the next generation of NHS doctors, to create a healthier society.
