Summary
Anty Boisjoly is back to fill the gap that overlaps between Ruth Rendell and P. G. Wodehouse, and where Jerome K. Jerome meets Dorothy L. Sayers.
The Tale of the Tenpenny Tontine is another mystifying manor-house stumper for Wodehousian bon-vivant and problem-solver Anty Boisjoly, when his clubmate asks him to determine who died first after a duel is fought in a locked room. The untold riches of the Tenpenny Tontine are in the balance, but the stakes only get higher when Anty determines that, duel or not, this was a case of murder.

Such a fun series.
The Anty Boisjoly series continues with another light, hilarious and Wodehousian mystery full of twists, turns and absurdities. Very enjoyable.

Jolly good story that’s wheels along at a great pace.
Another very entertaining & fun story with an array of characters as well as our reliable sleuths. A great listen that lifts the spirits with a couple of jolly murders thrown in.

the fabulous language
I loved the comedy and laughed out loud, sometimes the story confused me, but that didn't matter

Top notch!
Beautifully written, laugh out loud funny, great central characters and a nice knotty whodunnit. My only worry is I’m racing through the series! Highly recommended.

Humour and lack of cliches
This guy is wasted ghosting other peoples books. Publishers give the guy an advance he can live on so we can go on laughing. TV producers get onboard, stop making endless revivals of dead authors, PJ will give you a string of hits. It would need a narrators voice over the action because half the joy is in the word play and inner dialogue.

Great Yarn
A good fashioned tale with lots of long winded tales, gentle humour and a good twist at the end.

Another great story
Another thoroughly enjoyable tale expertly narrated what's not to like. Give it a go if you like Woodhouse and Christie

Fun but confusing
I am enjoying this series, mainly for the style of writing and the narration but it seems that the majority of the book is primarily padding for a convoluted final 30 minutes where the whole plot is unraveled and I’m left wondering where on earth it all came from. Perhaps I should stick with Enid Blyton.

Good Narration.
I'm really liking this series. It reminds me of Lord Peter Wimsey from the Dorothy L Sayers books , era and character etc.
Good cosy mystery.
