Summary

A spooky murder mystery to chill the blood and torment the mind.

If these walls could talk....

Scarpside House is famed for its beauty, its isolation and its legendary parties.

Tonight, it hosts the Penny Club soiree, an annual gathering of lucky men and women from all walks of life, coming together to celebrate their survival against the odds.

But this year, their luck is running thin.

Accidents do happen, after all....

And some are long overdue....

Incorrectly labelled

I purchased this thinking it was in the ghost/supernatural category but seems it has been incorrectly tagged and is in fact a pretty straight down the line Agatha Christie style murder mystery, which it took me a few chapters to realise! May appeal if you’re into that kind of thing but not if you’re expecting something supernatural like I was.

Enjoyable cosy murder mystery!

I liked this! I must admit I did lose track of the plot, it seemed to become unnecessarily complicated & have lots of slightly tenuous strands to it, but I thought there were some lovely uncanny touches and creepy moments.
