About this listen
Everything has changed. I’m a Skew, a supernatural, but what type?
Ten days ago, Jacob Knight waltzed back into my life and screwed it all up. Still, I helped him track the heir of a powerful werewolf family, and that was a win, but now I don’t know which way is up.
My reality has shifted, pun intended. I’m not who I thought I was, and the changes are more than I can handle. As if that wasn’t enough, a new drug is ravaging my city, including the customers at my mate tracking agency. What gives?
So as I try to come to terms with my new identity and I hide my new secret from the man I love, the world around me bursts into chaos, and I find myself in the middle of a wide conspiracy where alliances are broken and the things I hold dear and true to my heart turn out to be nothing but lies.
Will my secret destroy my change of normalcy and happiness with Jake?
If you enjoy K.F. Breene, Shannon Mayer, Annette Marie, and CN Crawford, then prepare to enjoy a witty heroine and her rekindling romance with a hot werewolf. And if you shed a few tears, maybe you’ll even get a potion to help track your soul mate.

Stunning follow-up to The Tracker's Mate
Toni’s whole world has come crashing down. Not only has her mother been lying to her her entire life but with the help of the powerful mage, Damien Ward, she has been responsible for suppressing Toni’s shifter abilities. Devastated by the knowledge that the man she thought of as her father was anything but, Toni refuses to listen to her mother’s explanation.
Despite her anger at him, Toni swallows her pride and seeks advice from Damien Ward. He’s concerned however that Toni has no memory of her first shift.
“This won’t be easy, but you’ll have to learn to control it. You need someone of your own kind to teach you. Do you have someone?”
Toni’s initial thoughts turn to Jake. As a werewolf, she should now be free to be with him. Unfortunately Jake needs a strong and able mate who will carry on his father’s legacy. Toni doesn’t feel capable or ready to be a ‘puppy factory.’
Damien calls in a favour with a werewolf by the name of Eric Cross in the hopes that he will help Toni to connect with her wolf. Unfortunately Eric suspects that Damien’s spells over the years have repressed her wolf, leaving her broken beyond repair. Through a series of gruelling sessions with Eric, Toni attempts to control her shift so that she won’t be a danger to those around her.
Meanwhile a new drug is ravaging the city. The drug is particularly deadly to vampires who find it irresistible. A client of Toni’s mate tracking agency is currently under its influence and the clock is ticking for them. As if trying to come to terms with her new identity while hiding her secret from Jake wasn’t enough, Toni must now track down those responsible for distributing the deadly drug - a feat that sees her once again in the middle of a supernatural war that places her in mortal danger.
The Tracker’s Secret is the second compelling instalment of the Mate Tracker series and picks up immediately after the events of the previous book. Toni is reeling from the discovery that in addition to being a tracker - a human with magic in her blood, she is a werewolf too. Unfortunately years of having her shifter side suppressed has left her with no control over her wolf and she’s forced to seek guidance on accessing her shifter abilities. Supporting Toni throughout her crisis is the ever dependable Roselina. Their endearing unwavering friendship being just one of the many highlights of this series.
With its witty dialogue, relentless pacing and adept character development, this book was a great continuation of the series in which several secondary characters made their debut. Damien Ward and Eric Cross were particularly welcome additions. There were several amusing instances with the former while Eric Cross, with his questionable background and antagonistic nature, was an enigma whose background I’m hoping the author will shed light on in the next instalment.
Toni’s development has made for compulsive reading. Her strength, compassion and snark will have readers totally rooting for her and her relationship with Jake which remains at odds despite Toni’s new shifter abilities. This is due to Jake’s desire to carry on his father’s legacy coupled with Toni’s self doubt continue to be an obstacle in their relationship. After that jaw dropping ending, I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for her in the next instalment.
Recommended for fans of urban fantasy, slow burn romance, witches, werewolves, vampires, mystery etc
I was impressed by Kasi Hollowell's clear and concise narration and the way she was able to bring all the characters to life.

second book
This is the second book in the series, and I have enjoyed both. Toni is not only found out that her dad was not her dad, but that she is also a shifter and her mum has hid this from her her whole life. Now she has to learn to control/work with her other side of herself, while trying to keep her mate tracking business going and does this mean she can finally be with the love of her life Jake now that she nows she is a sifter....... you will have to read . but like the other book things get more dangerous and complicated than just trying to track mates for people. looking forward to the next book

highly recommend
I adore this series!! The second book was just as good as the first. I really appreciate the close friendship between Toni and Rosalina. The process behind Toni’s tracking trance is so unique and original. Gotta love her snarky humor too. ! I can’t wait for the next book

Great pacing, character development and lots of witty dialogue. Kept my attention the whole way through, and I feel so invested in Tonis personal and romantic life! The twists made sure to keep the reader on ones toes. And the cliffhanger at the end.. Cannot wait for the continuation! Excellent narration once again by Kasi Hollowell.

The Tracker’s Secret
This is the second book in the Mate Tracker series. Toni has just found out that she is not just a Tracker with magical blood, but that she is a werewolf too. This book is fast paced. Will things work out between Toni and Jake? I can’t wait to start the next book. Kasi Hollowell did an amazing job narrating this book.
