Summary

Mark Greene got the job! He will soon head public relations for a prestigious institute designed to be the clearinghouse of recovery groups worldwide. Unbeknownst to Mark Greene, however, its founder and guiding light, Dr. Blameshaw, has aligned its future with an alien come to earth with one purpose: curing patients of psychological sickness, and - with luck - conquering earth itself.

For his collusion, Dr. Blameshaw is granted the means to corner the therapy market. He further colludes with a corrupt senator, a benefactor of the institute, who trades federal grant money to better his odds at the presidency.

As Mark Greene discovers the truth, he falls for Dr. Blameshaw's daughter, Roxanne, a psychologist in her own right. Together they confront the threat, homegrown and not, that endangers not only their own welfare, but that of patients and doctors alike.

Love, mankind, and the most powerful office in the world hang in the balance. All this - and living tongues in jeopardy - animate this spoof of therapeutic culture.
