About this listen
Kyle Mitchell has forged his own path in life. He’s happy with his job as the head of horse breeding operations at Untamed, working for his best friend, Rand. Knowing his family has never accepted his sexuality, Kyle is shocked to find out he’s expected to be at his brother’s wedding with his boyfriend...a man who doesn’t exist.
After inheriting Untamed from his parents, Rand Everette is living his dream. His quiet life is turned upside down when his best friend, Kyle, asks him to be his fake boyfriend for his brother’s wedding. Faking chemistry won’t be difficult. They already know almost everything about each other and live together. How hard could it be?
What will Rand think when he finds out Kyle told his brother he not only has a boyfriend but a Daddy Dom as well? Will they be able to find a way to pull it off or will it all blow up? With the Mitchell family involved anything is possible, but maybe what starts as a fake relationship is just what Kyle and Rand need to find their way to each other.
Untamed involves two adult men in love, as well as an age play/ABDL relationship.

cute fake to real relationship
cute story where Kyle wants to make his repulsed family uncomfortable, after they nearly disinherited him after he came out, he knows they wouldn't be accepting of an unconventional relationship.
only problem is that in attempts to get comfortable with the relationship he fell in love with his best friend and boss, Rand, and the daddy-little lifestyle
with some heartbreaking scenes where Kyle doesn't know how to play with blocks, but falls in love with Rand's childhood teddy bear 🐻

Wonderful book to listen to...... again and again.
I will start by saying that I read the ebook this month, after getting the novella. This book is completely different to what I usually listen to, but for some reason the daddy/boy books are really hitting the spot at the moment, and this book was no exception, and it is definitely one I will both read and listen to again and again.
Now Bolton Hill is also a new to me narrator, and he did a brilliant job on this audio. I just loved the different voices he did for Rand and Kyle. I will certainly be looking for more books narrated by him, and expanding my audio collection.
As I am writing this review, I am trying to think of why this book appealed to me so much, but I really cannot pinpoint one particular reason. What I did like though, was that it wasn't a book where they were having sex all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love a hot book like many others, but sometimes I want a book that is more about the emotions and feelings, and this book was that.
To me personally - this was a book written with Kyle learning what he actually wanted from Rand (namely a daddy), but also with Rand learning to be a daddy, and he didn't know how much he had wanted this sort of relationship, actually neither of them knew really. It was like being taken on the journey with them both, and it has given me even more understanding of the daddy/boy relationship, and how sometimes everyday life itself can be stressful for some people, and having a daddy can take all this stress away, and I would think it could work the other way too, that when someone is being a daddy to their boy, then their head space also changes.
I also loved being introduced to Jonas and Jace, and I am hoping that their story is also one to be told. I am wondering about the background of Jonas especially as he likes to look pretty.

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Fake daddy/little sweet story
Review from amazon
The story starts when Rand owner of a horse breading company employs Kyle fast forward 8 years and they are best friends. One comment to his brother to get out of going to his wedding leaves Kyle needing a huge favour of Rand. What sparks is a sweet story between two people who clearly have a good close friendship. I loved both MC’s and the ranch hands were hilarious. Kyles family not so much although I want Kyle’s nan to adopt me!!!
This book made me smile, laugh out loud and get seriously annoyed. It is daddy/boy but doesn’t have any diapers. Going in my reread pile
Audible review
This was a hard one to review as I think I loved the story more listening to it then reading it but found it frustrating at times as the voices were really similar, and probably would have found it hard to follow had I not already re read the book a number of times. However having said that Bolton hill is becoming a one click narrator.

The unexpected Daddy and his grateful boy
What a delicious read, this story has given me way too much pleasure .
I really loved the way the story developed, with two strong cowboys that have feelings for each other but are too reluctant to rock the boat, so stay silent.
Rand is the owner of Untamed Ranch and Kyle is his right hand man, both men have worked together for many years in harmony, until one day Kyle has to ask Rand for help on a teeny tiny problem. You see, Kyle is in need of a pretend boyfriend, in fact in need of a Daddy to attend his brothers wedding with him. Being the amazing man that he is Rand accepts the challenge.
What is so special about this book is the almost step by step , slow and steady development of the Daddy/boy relationship. Rand is so in tune with his boy's needs that he becomes an excellent Daddy, Kyle on the other hand basks in the love and attention he receives constantly. The chemistry between them is explosive and when both men finally give in to their desires the intimate scenes are beautiful.
What starts out as a game turns into a complete lifestyle change for these two men.
There is so much love and devotion and understanding between them that it makes my heart warm.

This Story Makes Me So Happy!
like every Carly Marie book an audio (and I've read them all!) I finished this story with such a happy smile on my face. Carly Marie has an absolute talent of creating characters I adore, and stories that sometimes teeter right on the edge of over the top, but only in the best of ways! Untamed is definitely one of those stories, and it left me giggling at the antics that Rand and Kyle get get up to. The premise of the whole story is unique - trying to get out of his brother's wedding, Kyle makes up a crazy lie and then is forced to give up his pride, or follow through. Never mind following through involves talking your best friend and boss into pretending to be your daddy - stuffed bears, bottles and books included! This story made me aww and giggle, often at the same time. I adored following their journey as they realised their clever ruise might not be such a fictional story at all. Bolton Hill did a great job with the narration. I really felt it fit the characterisation well - Rand as gentle but firm. Deep and serious, but with a soft undertone, especially when comforting his boy. Kyle had lots of sass, and at times that hint of vulnerability. Even though I had already read the book, I felt the narration helped draw me even deeper into their relationship. Loved it!!

This was such a sweet book
This was such a sweet book. Kyle and his family don't get on so when he is informed that he must attend his brother's wedding he makes up a fake boyfriend, when that isn't enough he claims that said boyfriend is actually his Daddy Dom. Even that doesn't deter his brother so his only choice is to ask his best friend of nearly a decade to be his fake Daddy. The men have always been attracted to each other but afraid to risk their friendship. Neither of the men have a clue exactly what the Daddy/little relationship will entail and as they practice and explore these roles it turns out that this dynamic might just be perfect for them.

A wonderful story from a new to me author
I lived every minute of this book. It grabbed me immediately because I was so taken in by the narrator. I've not listened to him before but I'll ask him out now.
The story goes in an interesting direction very quickly, and mixture of ranchers and Daddy/little was a surprise.
The characters are well drawn and the plot is gentle, without any heavy angst.
It's a very loving book, with plenty of heat too.
A great introduction to Carly Marie.

Sweet Daddy/boy
I absolutely loved this story but that's no surprise because Carly Marie is one of my absolute favorite authors.
Poor Kyle has never been accepted by his family so when he's informed that he had better show up to his brother's wedding with his boyfriend, who doesn't exist because he made him up to make his brother uncomfortable, he figures why not go all in and make him a Daddy as well?!
Now he's floundering for a way to pull this off so of course he begs his best friend, roommate and boss Rand to help him out.
It doesn't hurt that Kyle and Rand have also basically been in a relationship without either of them acknowledging it.
What was so sweet and surprising to them both was how quickly and easily they both slipped into their roles and enjoyed them, how right this felt to them.
This crazy situation was the perfect impetus to help them realize exactly what they'd been so oblivious to, how perfect they were for one another.
Bolton Hill's narration as usual was spot on and got me perfectly into that good old country boy mindset.
