Another excellent read from Ruth
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and simple didn’t want it to end . It made me laugh out loud, weep and smile . Ruth Jones has such talent for writing and depicting realistic characters . I can’t wait for her next book.

This is a lovely second book. Narration by Ruth Jones is tidy! A wonderful reflection of three lives. Intertwined with happiness, sadness, laughter but above all love!

light escape from reality

Relatable book with excellent narrator
What a fabulous book, the first one I’ve listened/read by Ruth, I’m looking forward to listening to more.
I loved Ruth as a narrator, it really brought the characters to life with their accents and local dialect.
I also loved being able to identify with the areas within the book and pick up on clues of where they actually were when changed to be fictitious. Hearing Pensycynor bird garden ms being mentioned took me back to my own childhood

Ruth Jones has worked her magic yet again. This book has been the best I have listened/ read for such a long time.

Fantastically uplifting
