Summary

Narrator Spoilt It

I have read or listened to all of Tony Park’s books, the story line was great. Sadly as an audible it was totally spoiled by the narrator. The narrator could not pronounce even the simplest of Afrikaans names and had a drone like monotone - at the very least get someone to find out how to pronounce the foreign words. At times it was if the reader had no interest in the story. Since the story was authored by a man, would have also preferred a male voice, but at the very least a voice with more avocado variety. I look forward to better narration for the next book

Back to Normal

Great to see Tony back writing an excellent story about animal, shark and nature preservation in Sothern Africa. The characters are realistic and as always the research is very evident. Narrated very well, I finished this book in record time. I do hope the main lovable characters are brought back soon. Loved it.
