About this listen

Paul Ferris was one of Britain's most feared gangsters for 25 years. Now Ferris reveals for the first time the real inside story of the villains he met and worked with, the common thugs, and big-time players that surrounded him, and the world of violence and fear he lived in every day of his life.©2007 Paul Ferris and Reg McKay (P)2007 Oakhill Publishing Ltd True Crime

Average at best

Not very interesting. Mr Ferris portraited as good guy and there seems to be no structure to this book. Random stories from random times left and right and as a bonus you get promo for other stuff the author has produced. You will not miss much if you skip this one.

Instant recall!

I first read this book to my wee brother. Whilst he was in hospital. He loved it! I loved it. He was a game wee man himself. Sadly since then. He has passed . I bought the audiobook and it took me right back to those nights reading to my brother. . Until he eventually fell asleep. The audio did not disappoint.! Love the narrators voice . The stories in it obviously don’t change but still had me gripped. Laughing out loud and sometimes a wee tear. Love the honesty of the books. Miss the auld school morals. Fantastic mr F
