In Deep

It was nice to learn more of Joe's story, his background and how he had come to own his own bar with attached members only club beneath.

Joe has hidden depths, as does the guy he meets at his new business acquisition, Rainbow Rooms. They have both been hurt previously and find comfort in one another, despite Joe breaking his most cardinal rule.

This volume literally had me laughing out loud in some places. At one point I was crying silent tears. That is the strength of Louisa's words and Dan's portraying of them.

I love these stories!

Sexy short leaves you wanting more!

Whilst I came into this series late and started on book 3, I'll definitely be going back to listen to the others now!

Joe owns the V Lounge, a voyeur club, and he has a bit of a bad history but he's grown into quite the tough guy because of it. He's an entrepreneur and successful business man looking for his next project, The Rainbow Rooms nightclub - a different venue to his Voyeur club. He's lost his mentor, the man who made him, and is now alone in both business terms and in his love life. He likes it that way. The odd hook up is all he needs.

Enter fiesty Kian, the young student bartender at the Rainbow room who's none too pleased about the change in management. Let's just say when Joe sets his eyes on him, they don't seem to stray anywhere else except for an online app that he uses to vent his frustration with an anonymous Phoenix. Until the moment that Kian confronts him. Then things really start...

This is a relatively short book and it packs punch in that short time. Joe and Kian are hot together and the narration from Dan Calley make these scenes quite a scorcher. Dan was able to voice a full cast with ease and his Leeds accent was spot on! I'm hooked to hear more from Joe and Kian but I'll be going back to the beginning now to catch up on all the other couples that grace the V Lounge.

If you're looking for a short, hot listen then I can recommend this one!
