Only one profession is at once more reviled and revered than any other...that of the hired blade. The paid killer. The assassin.
The When Swords Fall Silent anthology showcases the imaginations and talents of more than a dozen of the best modern science-fiction and fantasy authors, with each tale centered around one or more characters burdened with a bloody task they will see to completion no matter the cost. Every story takes you for a vicious ride through a world of shadow and death, each as unique in perspective and execution as the contracts carried out within.

Only a few stories
Wow this shouldn’t of been so hard work to endure some of the voices and lame stories. All a question of taste and lucky I could skip many chapters

Poor, though the First & Last were both good
The first story, ‘May Luck Be With You’ & the last, ‘Mission Of Mercy’ were both good stories and were both well narrated. Other than that though the Anthology was a waste of time, I skipped all of the other books due to the poor narration and/or poor recording quality. Even with good quality audio and narration I doubt I’d have continued with the rest.
May Luck Be With You 4/5 story 4/5 narration
Mission Of Mercy 4/5 story 3/5 narration
The rest 0 since I didn’t finish (barely started) any of them.
