Great book
I loved the back story to the book, which is essential the authors life and how magick helped him. It really needs to be listened to, there is many moments when you think how much can one person endure from the hands of others. I have recommended it to many friends even those not interested in magic. Then you get onto the practical application of evoking energy. I will be listening to the book again.

audiobook is the way to go
I bought the audiobook, not sure whether a magical book would work in audio. Some magic books are full of table, charts, talismans and the like, this book was much more suited to the audiobook.
The first part of the audiobook is Echol's story in his own voice which is incredible. Before I heard this I thought he'd be rather a dark character, possibly an ex criminal or gang member. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Then he gets into the magic. I suppose this part could have worked either as book or audio but it was still more interesting to hear it rather than read it. All of the practices are simple enough to be described.
He only does a few core practices in this book, so I would say it is for beginners in magick, but he explains them so well. Then he actually takes you on a guided practice for each lesson, you can hear how to sound out the angel names and so on. That is invaluable.
I knew most of the stuff in this book already although there were a few tweaks for me, but it is one of the best media I've seen for explaining magick. He also is a great apologist for magick, showing how wholesome it is.

The best course to introduce you into magick!!
I love it, I did find it odd that the lbrp was at the end, I'd had put it in the start if it was my course. All the lessons were spot on and congruent to what I have heard from other magicians elsewhere. It's really cool to have guided magick lessons even though he is perhaps a bit too explanatory! The breathing is hard because he doesn't keep the best count, but I also have limited capacity at the moment so there's that. All in all, the best audiobook I have ever purchased, I love magick!

A great beginners overview
This was fantastically narrated by Damien himself, and serves as a good introduction to High Magick. You will learn various breathing and visualisation techniques, as well as The Rose Cross and LBRP. I highly recommend this, it is very easy to follow and narrated perfectly.

Inspiring and motivational
Remarkable man with an inspiring description of Magick and it's practical application. Excellent narration.. feels genuine and heartfelt. One of the most enjoyable audio books I've listened to on the subject matter.

This book focuses on the key energy work needed for high magick. How to master the qabalistic cross, middle pillar, lbrp, and other energy work.
The content is so high quality, no BS, straight to the point and simple terms... But delivered in a soothing and solemn voice.
