Summary
Dr Nell Ward is in the lush, emerald hills of Ireland, to attend the wedding of two dear friends at a picture-perfect farmhouse.
But family tensions are running high in the days before the happy couple tie the knot. And when Nell sees a fox kill a hare in the early morning light, it sends shivers down her spine. Almost like it is a sign of something to come...
Then one of the locals makes a gruesome discovery in a nearby peat bog. Famous for the ancient bodies these habitats preserve, what has been found instead is a woman who died much more recently...
Nell and her friends are suddenly in the middle of another murder case. Can they hunt down the killer and save the wedding, before it is too late?
An absolutely gripping cozy mystery to curl up with. Perfect for fans of Richard Oman, Robert Thorogood and Janice Hallett.

Great series!
I have now listened to all the Nell Ward mysteries and I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Even if it's a bit 'Midsomer Murders', they're great stories. The narration is fantastic - Kristen makes each character completely their own - she knocks out a pretty good low-pitched Irish male brogue as well as Shannon's slightly seductive Chelsea! I'm sorry that I've now finished the series!

Still loving these stories!
Still totally loving these - the nature stuff is wound through and so interesting and you know that all the nature and science facts are checked and true. The narrator is absolutely fantastic, her accents are second to none and with her voice and the brilliant descriptions, I SEE these people soo clearly. What a top partnership! Please keep it up both you ladies!!
