Really good enjoyable gentle Murder Mystery

Really enjoyed listening/ reading this, plenty of good characters brought to life in this Auction room mystery. First the of a series and a great start. Likeable dour Yorkshire Sergeant Pettifer and Felicia Grant eventually get to the bottom of this cosy murder mystery with help from her family and friends Recommend this, great listen by great narrator.

Brilliant, engaging, fun and clever

Really enjoyed this and want to see how the series develops but can’t as no more audiobooks! Please record more! Highly recommended by an avid fan of cosy crime.

An intriguing story !

It’s a good read, with twists and turns to keep you guessing who did it ! I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a light but intriguing mystery story.

Great setting. Real characters and plot twists

What a surprise!

Wasn’t sure whether I really wanted to get this book but I am so pleased I did. I love the way Ciaran Saward narrated it. A really good murder mystery in my opinion. I will be keen to listen to another by E C Bateman

I am only half way through but don’t want it to end!

In my experience, “cosy crime” can either be a very enjoyable story or… a bit naff. This is one that belongs strongly in the first camp! Brilliantly performed, I know I will finish it today and just wish I had the next one in the series to slip right into!
