Summary
An emotional new psychological thriller from the #1 best-selling author of While My Eyes Were Closed.
You have 18 months left to live....
On a wet Monday in January, Jess Mount checks Facebook and discovers her timeline appears to have skipped forward 18 months, to a day when shocked family and friends are posting heartbreaking tributes to her following her death in an accident. Jess is left scared and confused: is she the target of a cruel online prank or is this a terrifying glimpse of her true fate?
Amongst the posts are photos of a gorgeous son she has not yet conceived. But when new posts suggest her death was deliberate, Jess realises that if she changes the future to save her own life, the baby boy she has fallen in love with may never exist.

Torn on this one.
Ok, I am torn about this, as I did listen to the end, I liked it, but also some of the characters actions / choices did get on my nerves.
It is fiction so Authors can write their characters however they choose, and if they all made the right decisions at the right times, the book would end at chapter 3, so there is that.
Anyway, an interesting plot I would say worth a listen and I will read more from the author.

Different but enjoyable
this is the second book I've listened to by the author. I really enjoyed her last book, while my eyes were closed, and gave it five stars so I was looking forward to this one. I struggled to get into it for a while but when I did I listened avidly. it's a concept that is original and well thought out, though I have to say it wasn't quite as good as her last.
I noticed some reviewers felt that they didn't get answers at the end though personally I did. without spoiling it for others I felt that the answer lay in the end of the letter she reads.
looking forward to more by Linda Green, I love her characters and the way age avoided cliches.

loved this from start to finish!!
This book was a completly random pick. After returning the last few books I had nearly given up on finding a compelling story. However this book had my full attention throughout. The plot was original, the characters very well narrated, so well written and read I was in tears at least 4 times. The story never slowed for a minute. I think I listened to it over about 36hrs. I even sneaked off in work to get my fix it was so good. I've just purchased another Linda Green book fingers crossed it's as good as this one. My favourite book this year.

After I've Gone
A story written with understanding and empathy of loss, love and domestic abuse, and an acknowledgment of the sixth sense within. Narration very good .

Frustrating pronunciation
I quite enjoyed this story, but there had clearly been no basic research into how the main reader should pronounce Mythelmroyd correctly. (Even the lady doing Angela’s parts knew how to pronounce it).
It’s ‘M-eye-them-Roy’d’ not ‘Mi-thelm-Royd’. Every time she said it incorrectly was irritating! Otherwise a good story - but no real explanation about how the ‘future’ FB posts were done.

Sudden ending
I enjoyed this all the way through, but was disappointed that there was no explanation of "how" or "who" it happened. Great readers though
