About this listen
Learning to control that anger could very well save your kid’s life. Here’s what you need to know....
According to statistics, 73 percent of parents say parenting is the biggest struggle in their life. On top of that, in order to cope with these stressors, 90 percent of parents claim to yell at their kids.
But what effect does this actually have on your little ones? Is it even an effective strategy?
In Am I Yelling?, you’ll discover:
- The psychology of anger and why yelling is not the most productive outlet
- What to do when your child is the angry one, and why remaining calm is imperative
- How to learn your child’s language so that you can understand and anticipate their actions
- A step-by-step guide to developing your own emotional intelligence and why this could save your child’s life
- Groundbreaking insight into how you can manage your anger, even if you haven’t succeeded with this in the past
- What you can do to fix an instance of yelling and why this is important for your child’s development
- And so much more.
Parenting is hard enough without always having to second-guess if you’re doing the right thing. Yelling has it’s time and place and can be effective in certain instances, but sometimes expressing your frustration this way simply does more harm than good.
Spending just minutes a day, you can train your mind to use these strategies and control your anger to communicate more effectively with your child, as well as help them to grow into the best possible version of themselves.
If you’re ready to control those random outbursts and stop feeling like you’re treating your children too harshly, then scroll up and click the “buy” button right now.

Extremely helpful!
I have 2 teenagers, who grunt instead of answering questions, they like slamming doors when told 'no'....I was going crazy, being angry is not something I like as I know what that can do from my own childhood experience!
I got this book to see if I could get some strategies to manage my own anger and when the kids push my buttons!
The authors have put together a great book. Giving lots of explanations, advice and tips on managing our anger as parents but acknowledge our struggles with parenting and not judging us when we might 'lose it'.
My favourite chaper has to be chapter 9. I have already started to put the advice in place. For example, now when anger starts to bubble, I walk away, take a few minutes or longer and then come back when I am a lot calmer and we discuss why I felt angry and we can make the changes in both our behaviours to make better decisions and get better outcome.
Great book for any parent who wants to work on their anger issues.

Works like a magic pill!
As someone who's been disturbed by anger issues since childhood, I was dazzled by the content of this book. Should initially pay my gratitude to the author and the narrator as well for publishing this amazing piece of work! The strategies explained in the book were very productive and they made my parenting life easier and more compassionate. I learned how anger could psychologically affect one's life and now I'm concerned before lashing out on my children or husband. My vexation gradually dwindles seemingly and I must say this is not only for parents but for all who suffer from anger issues.

Can't recommend this book enough!!
I gotta say when I saw the title I was skeptical. There are so many parenting self-help books out there. But HOLY COW look no further, this is the only book you need! I was blown away by the amount of value packed into a 3 hour book. I loved all the tips and strategies provided to manage your anger. I don't even consider myself a super angry person, but I definitely lose it when my kids are driving me crazy (who doesn't??). And everything in this book was applicable. Thank you SO much for such a valuable book!!

Solid parenting reframes
Parenting in the past 12 months has been a challenge to say the least. With ever changing schedules and constant upheaval, I'm amazed I haven't totally lost my sanity at this point. But hey, it's important that we use positive discipline around our kids, so I picked up this book hoping to learn a few things and I'm glad that I did. It's not just a case of controlling emotions, but instead understanding why we feel the way that we feel at times, and using those feelings to raise our kids in the best way possible... even if they can be frustrating at times.

I've Stopped Blowing my Fuse!
Stress builds up every day, and the littlest things can make me lose it. Well, that was the case before listening to this audiobook. It's not good to hold in that stress but at the same time, it's not good to let it out in an angry fashion, this book has taught me how to control my anger. Now I am in control of my emotions, I am no longer drain and tired of a stressful life, I take the stress and put it into my passions which calm me down and make life joyful. I recommend this to any of you other hotheads out there, plus this can help more than just parents :)

This was an amzing book
I really appreciated just how well research and organized this book is. There were so many moments that got me thinking about how I have been handling situations in my professional as well as family life. I am grateful that I found this audiobook as it has me reflecting and really thinking about ways to approach situations that tend to trigger me!
It's so important to have guides like these which set out an amazing example of how you can manage your anger effectively.
I feel so much more confident that I can manage my emotions with ease.
It's important to note that yes there really are 45 methods listed. you just have to pick the ones that work best for you. And because there are so many options it's not the deepest book ever but It's clear, concise and straight to the point which is probably more important!

Im not yelling
It's impossible not to feel angry at times, but as much as I try you can see it written all over my face. I think this book will help avoid some of that unfortunate tendency, especially when conversing with children. A great book for anyone who is trying not to argue and get angry when conflict arises.

Kids are a pain at the best of times
As someone who finds themselves struggling to cope with children sometimes, these anger management strategies really help! I find myself a much calmer parent, and it's starting to show in my family too. No one is as tense. I'm really glad I took this step of self improvement - I can't thank the author enough!
If you struggle as well, give this book a listen and implement some of the strategies. You won't regret it. A calm, happy family is a happy life.
