An insightful book on a topic not discussed enough
It's clear the author has expertise in the topic as she delves not only into effective anger management strategies but also into where it arises from and the types, the triggers that can set it off, and the effective communication techniques to cool off situations. I highly recommend this book to parents or expecting parents as I'm sure you'll find something you've not learned yet.

Help to become a better parent
I wish I'd had this audiobook when my daughter was growing up. I lost my temper a lot back then and felt so guilty. This book breaks down anger so well - where it comes from, what sets me off easier than I realize. Now I understand why I reacted that way. It gives tips for cooling off that I would have loved to have known back then. It would have helped me be the parent I wanted to be. Even now, it's given me tools to be mindful of my actions and do better now. I highly recommend.

great advice, very helpful!
So happy I came across this book. I have been struggling with letting my frustration getting the best of me.
I have been listening to a lot of parenting books, but this one focused on advice about recognizing and diagnosing those impulses and heated moments that are hard to control. The number of examples, empathetic and understanding tone, and overall encouraging tone of this book made this a lovely read.
I feel seen, heard, and inspired to do better! I highly recommend this and will definitely be taking the author's advice by implementing a number of the strategies that were explained in this guide :)
