Bit far fetched
Not sure the person reading it matched the story , putting on the voices etc. not a bad insight into domestic abuse but made it seem easier than it is leaving an abusive relationship

Not the usual Lesley Pearse
It was ok, easy listening, quite a good story but very far fetched. Not wanting to do a spoiler but the legal events at the end of the story were completely unrealistic.

It’s just ok
The narration was fine but didn’t suit the story line/character. Easy to get into and listen to throughout but far fetched in places. Ok but nothing to rave about. I used to love reading Lesley Pearse books, not sure if they just don’t suit audio format.

Not a dull moment
I use to read Lesley Pearse books years ago and listening to this story now found her books are still so enjoyable. I just wanted to keep listening until the end

Binge listened in one day! My first title by this fantastic author.
Really really enjoyed this. Not my usual type but fancied a change. This is my first book by this author and it won’t be my last! I really enjoyed this easy listen story and sailed through the chapters. I wanted to know more and more. It was a really good story with just enough for a light listen. A definete 5 stars plus. I was sad when it came to the end but happy with the outcome. Now looking for my next listen by Lesley. So many to pick.
