Fellow cat lady
Loved the book and the wonderful characters, I connected over a long standing difficult upbringing and the much needed affection I received from my pet cats/s. Well done again Dawn! And everyone else it’s a must read/listen, Daisy is the perfect ‘Mia’ x

An enjoyable experience
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book, in fact much better than I thought I would. It is at times a brutally honest portrayal of grief, loss and human frailty and vulnerability
I am not going to lie, the rather explicit sex scenes did take me a back a bit, but they somehow added to the books honesty. It is ultimately a book about survival, and coping mechanisms and barriers we put around ourselves to help us do so, while exploring the very unique and at times, little understood relationships of love people have for the pets. A must read for anyone who has ever loved and lost, human or animal.

Sifting the stigma of the ‘crazy’ cat lady
Dawn perfectly captures the love we have between humans and our pets, it’s unconditional and often fills a void many humans cannot! Pet grief is heartbreaking and I hope this book will change the narrative and perception of women who love their cats.

Great book…. Even if you aren’t a cat person!
This was a joy to listen to with Daisy narrating. I loved the story which covered dysfunctional friendships, life decisions and pet loss to name a few. I very quickly fell in love with the characters and I think this is down to Dawn’s writing style.
Overall I couldn’t stop listening to this and look forward to reading/listening to Dawns next book!

Crazy cat lady ended too soon!
Loved this book, the characters were funny & so relatable - the office dynamics especially. I cringed at the horrendous pocket dial , cried about Pigeon & laughed at crabs - read it & enjoy- & don’t keep your phone in your pocket if you’re planning a clandestine meeting!

Another fab book by Dawn
I loved going along this journey with Mia. I laughed, I cried and I related. As a self proclaimed cat lady, I adored it
