Lots of options for an anxious teen
My daughter has anxiety. This audiobook has been great for her. The personal stories of the different types of anxiety helped her to realize all the ways anxiety can affect teens. The list of traditional and alternative treatments is extensive. I love that the author includes advice not often heard about. For example, taking social media accounts is what most books recommend. However, this book talks about the downside of doing that. It's realistic for today's modern society. I also loved the recommendation about getting her to talk during casual routines like driving to school and going grocery shopping. This has worked well for my family in getting my daughter to open up without pressure.
