About this listen
Andrew Barker is ready for the holidays. His perpetually bright and cheery personality feels right at home for Christmas. He has time off from work and a husband who's waiting for him at home, what else would he need?
Well, he had no idea he would be needing to sign divorce papers - let's start there.
Declan Rose-Covington, part of a luxury hotel dynasty, is coming into Stonewall Investigations because he needs help with a family issue. With his mom's huge holiday retreat around the corner, he's hoping to solve it before Santa comes to town. The last thing he's expecting is to enter the detective agency and fall for the strikingly handsome man sitting behind the front desk.
When Declan and Andrew meet they both feel an instant connection. Soon, the connection grows powerful enough to push Declan toward a crazy proposition: invite Andrew to the family retreat as a fake boyfriend. Andrew would get a nice week-long vacation out of it and Declan would avoid the judgemental jabs from all the spoused-up family members.
The potential for disaster was there, but there was also a chance to truly make this the most wonderful time of the year.
Contains mature themes.

Joyous one
I keep it short & sweet. Fake boyfriend plot with a sleuthing in the mix. Thorouhgly enjoyed the men, gran and the tale. Sleuthing has to be done, love to be fakesd and truely found. This was a fun one with real happiness and love to be found.
Narration:
Greg is an extra asset to the story and really brought it, as hoped, that bit more to life.

Bravo🥳
Now this is best amongst the other previous book because at least this give us the clear picture of what happened after the case was solved unlike the previous books I was left feeling unfulfilled because they always ended the cases so unsolved yes you get to know who the bad guys is and they call the cops then what???! just like that the case closed really I want to know more about the cases example what happened after Jonny came back to find Diana on the floor as the culprit?

Jingle the Elf's what?!
I loved this book the most. It had the best humour so far. And Deck and Andrew are the most fun couple so far. Granny's 'jingle the elf's ****** game was the most epic moment. I feel like Brooke and Aturo's scandal was properly concluded though.
As always Greg gave what needed to be gave! Overall, I loved this book.

Great holiday fake dating story
4-4.5
This was a great Christmas story with fake dating. It’s light and low angst - even with a jewellery thief mystery to solve.
I really liked both characters POVs and the banter between them.
This does take place completely away from the stonewall investigations offices and doesn’t link in with the overarching plot of that series so can be read as a standalone.
Great listen.
