Perfectly paced and interesting storyline
I was lucky enough to get a free copy of this book in a competition (1/5 people in the UK). The book is engaging and well voiced making the characters come alive as the tale grows in complexity and pace. I am seriously intrigued by the colour element and how that links to the ‘witch’ – I am sure that this will massively impact the story but… how?! I will be buying the next in series as I have to know what happens next!

Good & well performed, but felt like a part 1 of 2
A good story with well done characters but would of liked more of a finish to the book rather than working up to book 2.
I will get book 2 as the story was well written and want to know if things pick up.

Great start to a new series
I really enjoyed this book and the new elements that Chris brings to this genre. cant wait for book 2 and will pester the author on a continuous basis until I get it. XD

exciting and enthralling
loved this book the pace is quick but with depth to character's and story. The book paints a great picture in my mind of the new world they explore. leaves me wanting to hear more tome to download the next book. <3
