Mind Changing & Motivating

Pills/Drugs are just not the answer & this book really explains why it is important to mentally fix your mind so you can be the best version of yourself! Mind, Body, Healing & Preservation is key. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone so definitely listen to this masterpiece! This audiobook will most definitely change your perspective in a positive direction if you listen!

Wonderful audiobook to calm your mind!

I was very impressed with this audiobook, as its content is unique and original compared to other generic advice. It is clear that Dr. Burns is an expert in the realm of treating stress and anxiety, as his methods and techniques are professionally conveyed and prove to be effective. I enjoyed every chapter and how they are structured throughout the book, but the ones I appreciated the most were stoicism, breathwork, and meditation. When practiced as instructed by the book, I found that these methods have made a significant difference in calming my anxiety and stress levels, and I have noticed a greater sense of well-being when I partake in them daily. Overall, it is an excellent audiobook, and I highly recommend it for those seeking a calm and collected mind.

Thoughts can heal you

This book is a must read as it is on a topic that is normally overlooked, but is very powerful for overall well being. We have become attached to medications and unhealthy lifestyles, while ignoring our innate ability to heal ourselves. This is not to say modern medicine isn't necessary, however, a holistic approach to healing goes a far way. I want to thank the author for sharing her knowledge in this book, and I hope others find it as meaningful

Helpful for my anxiety

This audiobook has really helped me to understand that I can take control over my thoughts and change my stress and anxiety. Life Changing

I'm a huge believer in how having a positive mindset affects every area of our lives. I love how this book connects that to our health nd well-being - especially as it pertains to living a pain-free life (or at least one with less pain in it). I especially enjoyed the chapters on Gratitude and Positive Affirmations. If you are interested in living a better life - listen to this book and practice the holistic approaches mentioned - they are truly life-changing!

Great Book.

The author has extensive understanding of pain and its causes and provides many useful insights. In each of the chapters, you'll find helpful advice and exercises designed to help you cultivate self-compassion, curb negative self-talk, and build emotional resilience. Your pain and stress levels will significantly decrease as you practise mindfulness and positive affirmations. I really like how this book brought together Western medical thinking with Eastern healing tenets. The author's words have not only educated me about the subconscious mind and breath work, but they have also motivated me to resume my gratitude and meditation practises. To learn more about the mind-body link and how to use it to alleviate tension, anxiety, and even pain, check out this book. The principles are made more accessible and useful via the use of real-world examples and scientifically grounded action activities. I think this is fantastic advice for anybody interested in using their mind's healing potential. Excellent, straightforward guidance is provided for practises like meditation. Invaluable assistance.
