Summary
Multi-award-winning television writer and producer Georgia Pritchett knows a thing or two about anxiety.
From worrying about the monsters under her bed as a child (Were they comfy enough?), to embracing womanhood (One way of knowing you have crossed from girlhood to womanhood is that men stop furtively masturbating at you from bushes and start shouting things at you from cars. It's a beautiful moment) to being offered free gifts after an award ceremony (It was an excruciating experience. Mortifying) worry has accompanied her at every turn.
This memoir is a joyful reflection on just how to live - and sometimes even thrive (sometimes not) - with anxiety.

Sublime
I loved this. The writing is immaculate - precise, moving and so funny. So much talent wrapped up in so much humanness! Delivered with a light brilliant deftness.

I found this book achingly sad, honest and hilarious at the same time. Thank you.

What a talent
Dear Georgia
Thank you for sharing your experience of being a woman and a mother. It felt to me like you open your heart. It is painful and encouraging at the same time to read
the way you talk about your children, all four of them…. It made me realise what is important in my life.
Thank you for describing your fears so skilfully
It’s amazing that someone finally voiced what is going on in my head.
Thank you for shining a little light for hope.

One of the best books I have ever read/listened to
Funny, devastating, happy... oh my, what a rollercoaster of a read. I absolutely loved this book which was beautifully read by Katherine Parkinson. The way it was delivered in short punchy chapters added so much to the drama of the work. Thank you Georgia for sharing your life, emotions and brilliant humour with us.

Short but had me chuckling
Enjoyed it. Lightweight look at significant life experiences. Would have been lovely to hear more about her writing, but thats not this book. Beautifully read.

I was sad this book ended, brilliant narration
I really enjoyed this. It was refreshing to listen to something about anxiety, that's so relatable, told in such a simple way, with humour. It's a memoir and there are dark times, but told in a really unique way. I really like the very short chapters and loved the narration by Katherine Parkinson (she's so good). The book and Katherine are a perfect pairing. I was recommended this audio book and I completely get why. I've struggled to use my Audible credits, but this book is a credit well-spent. I will be listening to this book again. I was sad when it ended.

Beautiful
This story, the writing and the narration are nothing short of beautiful. This book genuinely made me laugh out loud and is both heartwarming and heartbreaking in equal measure.
My only criticism is that I wish it was longer so that there was more to read. I didn’t want it to end.
