A weekly newspaper dedicated to the weird and the wonderful (but mostly the weird), The Stranger Times is the go-to publication for the unexplained and inexplicable. At least that's their pitch. The reality is rather less auspicious. Their editor is a drunken, foul-tempered and foul-mouthed husk of a man who thinks little of the publication he edits. His staff are a ragtag group of misfits. And as for the assistant editor...well, that job is a revolving door - and it has just revolved to reveal Hannah Willis, who's got problems of her own.

We were from two completely different worlds: I was molded to follow the rules; I was the good girl living the sheltered life at St. Mary's Boarding School. But fate brought us together. Somewhere along the way, following the rules became a choice. The lines became blurred, and I was given a taste of rebellion in a package of wild blue eyes and hot, lingering touches. Our plan was set. I would escape St. Mary's, and he would stay. Isaiah warned me that we'd go up in flames if we veered from our plan. Except there was no we about it. Isaiah Underwood let me fall right into the ashes.

Summary
From the best-selling author of The Chronicles of St Mary's.
Life is good for Team Weird, now heroes and fully fledged Time Police officers. Luke can't wait to bear arms. Jane has a date. And Matthew still hasn't had his hair cut.
But Time waits for no one, and neither do criminal masterminds. A major threat to the Timeline is looming, one far deadlier than mere idiots who want to change history. And when a familiar face becomes a Very Important Lead, will conflicting family loyalties spell trouble for Team Weird?
One missing. One guilt-ridden. And one facing the end of their Time Police career before it's even begun. Not so good then, after all.

This is the third book in the Time Police series snd it's staggeringly good! Never has a book been more of a page turner. My brain was racing to not only keep up but at the many thoughts of which direction it could go. The main characters Luke, Matthew and Jane are developing beautifully and the future of them has never seemed more secure. Jodi Taylor keeps the reader guessing throughout and on more than one occasion your heart will be in your mouth.
Absolutely brilliant and I can't wait for number 4.

A little bit predictable.
Zara Ramm narrated the book as perfectly as she always does. The story galloped along at speed but was a little predictable. Perhaps the characters are so well known to me now that I can guess what they're going to do. It's a reflection on how well Jodie Taylor forms her literary characters. Having said all that, the combination of Jodie's story-telling and Zara's narration, feels similar to immersing myself in a favourite blanket and indulging in a chocolaty treat.

A firetrucking joyful listen
Few things make me as happy as listening to a Time Police/St. Mary’s romp. Taylor has yet again produced a story worthy of her characters, and her characters are fantastic. I expected a little less of the mystery to be unwound in this novel, but Taylor lets us in on some fascinating organizational leadership details to Site X. It’s nice when an author simultaneously ties up sufficient loose ends creating fulfillment, all while leaving a new storytelling avenue that you can’t wait her to take you down.
Zara Ramm is magnificent as always. If these characters ever end up in a TV series, they have to do the talent search based on her characters voices, or no deal. She is Maxwell, et al.
Bloody bollocking brilliant.

Firetrucking Cliffhanger - sort of!
In a nutshell or Pod (if you like): Ms. Taylor once again, knocks it out of the proverbial park again! Zara Ramm is spot on in the narration and brings the story to life! There was suspense, drama, excitement, confrontations, deaths, resurrections (sort of, maybe more of not dead yet), many mentions of 'firetruck," and even a little romance. However, tv shows have their hiatus time, we are often left with the "to be continued" shows; the Time Police saga and a few dangly bits (so many questions) also leaves us - to be continued.
I look forward to the next installment of the Time Police!

Another Great Trip
Love this series —seeing how the trio of “Team Weird” move through time and space, forging personal relationships and strengthen their bond. However… most of this book was a crossover mission with St Mary’s — lots of emphasis on Max, one of my favorite characters ever. When I grow up, I’d like to be her. This book doesn’t disappoint.

Another phenomenal entry in the Time Police saga
Team Weird is graduating to full Time Police officers. Of course this makes nothing go any easier. Jane goes undercover. Grint has a nice chat with Jane's not so pleasant grandmother. Luke confronts his father about his suspicions about site X. Matthew discovers evidence of who is behind it all, pulling in St. Mary's and Mikey into the middle of the case. Ancient sites are threatened and time itself is at risk. Yup...Team Weird is just getting started on their careers.
Highly recommended.
