Summary
Allen Carr’s Easyway has helped over 50 million people to date and counting! His revolutionary approach to the problem of addiction allows addicts to take back control of their lives.
Here in this brand-new audiobook the renowned Easyway method is applied to the subject of gambling.
Most gamblers are convinced that it’s almost impossible to stop gambling and free themselves from debt; they also feel unable to solve the widespread problems gambling causes. The wonderful news is that this audiobook shows you how to stop immediately, painlessly and permanently.
Ideal for listening to in the car or whilst traveling, this audiobook understands gamblers and how they think and, without being judgemental or patronising, takes them step-by-step through the process of how to free themselves of the gambling addiction.
It demonstrates how gamblers fall into the trap of gambling, the psychology behind being addicted to risk and how to quit gambling once and for all.

Best book to stop gambling ever
Well iv been gambling since I was 12 and am now 30. Haven't went more then a week without gambling and when I did I wanted to gamble the whole time. After listening to this the book 3 times over I haven't gambled for 2 months and don't miss it at all. I'm totally cured and I can control my my money and plan out things. This book was the best thing iv ever found to stop. Iv tried to stop before always failing within a week. But this book has finally done it. Thank you so much Allen carr

Not specific to gambling, not for me
This didn't help. Discusses giving up smoking/alcohol. Not sure the author ever gambled at all and therefore doesn't understand the addiction.

Simplistic and patronizing, some useful stuff.
The patronizing part is assuming all gamblers are in denial, whereas I think many know they have an addiction they can't control. Compares gambling to all other addictions and pretty much says they are all the same. However, gambling does produce dopamine and this gets you addicted to that excitement, win or lose. His main message is that you don't ever enjoy gambling and you only do it to escape withdrawal. However, he ignores the excitement that comes early in gambling as if it doesn't exist. May be useful for some people in denial or think they enjoy gambling. Main message is gambling overall is not pleasant or supportive (a crutch in his words), which I agree with, but it takes an awful long listen to just have this message repeated. I'm thinking he's just applied smoking template to gambling and I dont think they are quite the same.

A must for any compulsive gambler. I tried all the other ways to stop. Easy Way is the only one that's worked.

Very repetitive.
This is way too long and not as effective as it claims to be. More substance is needed
