Summary

Some say it's better to live as a villain, than to die as a hero. But why choose when you can go back in time and try out each option?

Ryan "Quicksave" Romano has begun a new time-loop. His goal? To prevent New Rome's destruction at the hands of the vicious Meta-Gang. To do so, our favorite courier must explore both sides of the law: to become a corporate superhero in one loop, and a scenery-chewing supervillain in the next!

But not is all as it seems. What is this heavy secret that the Dynamis corporation keeps hidden from him? Who is this person who seems to remember events from the previous loop? And most importantly, where did his cashmere suit go?

Absolutely bloody great!

Brilliant story and great narration, well worth my 5 stars.

I’m over the moon the story will continue but also saddened I’m going to have to wait until the next book is written/released (bear in mind this book was released only days ago).

Amazing Book and an Amazing narrator

The perfect run is consistently interesting in all things from its world, to its history, to its characters. I struggled to pause this book at all; it hooks you and doesn’t let go

If you enjoyed book 1 just buy this already.

Assume you've read Book1?
Absolute no brainer, its more brilliant QuickSave fun and the plot thickens.

Enjoy muchacho!

Absolute blast to listen to

If you enjoyed the first book, you will absolutely love this one. Stakes are much higher and story has much more impact. Overall an insanely fun ride.

A simply exhilarating ride

A sublime continuation to an incredible story. I lost count of the times I laughed during this listen, but even through that enjoyment there was seriousness, heartbreaks and surprising revelations. Highly, highly recommend to someone who shares a dark kind of humour, as well as someone who enjoys amazing plot and divine narration.

Great story

If you liked 1, you'll like 2. It's much of the same. A second volume of one book rather than a second book in a series.

when is crazy too much?

I suspect there is time when craziness becomes too much... I'm not sure where that line is because Maxime Durand sure as hell tried to find it. this book is hilarious and excellently narrated!

Even better than the first book imho

I like the story progression more than in the first book.

Also we get less odd flashbacks, but the one we do get are more meaningful and add to the understanding of the main character. Something the first book may have lacked looking back on it.

This book solidifies the concept and story into what I hoped it would become, I am hoping the next book keeps this up.

Great fun from start to finish

Surprisingly better than the first book - this sequel amps up all the great humour and fun sci fi from book one while dropping some of the less entertaining pop culture nods. a great listen!
