What I love most about this book is the different scenarios highlighted while making a point. The Author did great in giving anxiety about our children's color. Encompassed are situations on compassion, honesty, building relationships, and managing the children's fear. MUST READ.

Excellent parenting book

My teenage daughter displays symptoms of social anxiety on occasions. I got this book to get some ideas on how to help her.
This book has great advice and tips for parents to support their anxious children. For example, from addressing the self- limiting beliefs, setting the communication goals, offering healthy alternatives when communicating with your child, practise active listening to everything in between.

Great book for parents with children of all ages.

An eye-opening listen

I always thought that anxiety in children was inevitable and there was no real way of resolving it. What I learnt from this audiobook is that this isn't the case and it definitley is something you can manage. The section on the five most important things not to do as a parent was particularly powerful

A great book to lead a conversation with your kids

I had my nieces and nephew and their assorted cousins staying when I listened to this book

I particularly loved the chapter on managing limiting beliefs and I let the kids listen to it. We talked about it for ages and then the they started to talk about what they really wanted to do! It was great for them and for me. This lead to a talk around school and what people said to them. It was enlightening and they all felt great afterward.

Overall, this book is incredibly easy to relate to with very useful insights and tools to understand and deal with your child's anxiety (and your own!). I have no hesitation in recommending to parents - new and older - as well as grandparents and other family. We all loved it.

Totally Insightful

This opens up so much knowledge when it comes to understanding anxious kids and helping them.

Finding out what causes them anxiety is the key. Encouraging conversations with children can help.

Consistency is key, open neutral communication is essential and asking open-ended questions can be more effective.

A friend who is a stressed-out mother was intrigued when I mentioned this book as a coach; it comes up with clients.

In this book, I was able to get a deeper understanding of what they're experiencing.

Furthermore, this book has some interesting parts, like how social media affects children and their anxiety, yet it's so hard to control because it's so accessible.

A must-listen for anyone wanting a better understanding of anxiety.
