Summary
In the delightful Cotswold village of Carsely, the air is heady with romance. Agatha Raisin is convinced that the new vet has taken a shine to her. But before she can get anywhere, handsome Dr Paul Bladen is accidentally killed while attending to Lord Pendlebury's horse. So was it really an accident? All the evidence points that way, but the circumstances are decidedly suspicious.

Wonderful!
It has been a delight to listen to this book. Such a change... I felt transported back to a more gentle time...with gentle murders!!!! Love books that are set in a village, I shall now download the next one! 😊

Good narration
I like this narrator. Not annoyingly plummy and regional accents believable. I will listen to her again

Good book
it would be useful if the order of the books were written on them or in the synopsis.

Easy listen
Unlike other reviews I prefer this narrator to the awful nasal tone of Penelope Keith
Decent story, just a bit too short

Loved it
Just as good as the others. Wasn’t sure if I’d like a change of narrator but soon got into the plot and it didn’t seem to matter.

Light hearted and very enjoyable
Any additional comments?
Don't get distracted by Penelope Keith. This is a one off by Diana Bishop and she reads it very well.

Not sure on narrator
I listened to this book and the story line was good. But I was not impressed by the narrator or her miss pronouncing of James as Jane and she instead of he.
I miss Penelope Keith narrating this story. She was so good at making other voices for the characters. The narrator for this book made the book bland and lack character. Sticking to the Penalise Keith narrated ones now.
