Jodi Taylor’s done it again
Wow - I laughed, cried and gasped out loud. I don’t know how Jodi Taylor does it but that was well up there with the best books I’ve listened to and I think is straight in as my favourite of all the St Mary’s books. So many twists and turns and stories within stories it almost makes you giddy. Amazing level of historical detail too, and Zara Ramm as always was magnificent - such a good narrator.

What can I say?
I will give nothing away but... Jodi Taylor has a way with words. Zara Ramm has become the voice of Max. The Chronicles of St Mary's is a brilliant series of books! The day after the books is bleak, because it is already finished. I listen to them all over and over. If you like history, or even if you don't, these books rock. Already waiting for her next book, pre-ordered as per. Please never stop. Spin offs included.

Didn’t want it to end !
Another fantastic St Mary’s story by Jodi Taylor, another brilliant narration by Zara Ramm. The plot was so good, the characters so rich and interesting, I didn’t want it to end. Every time there’s a new St Mary’s story i get excited and plan my reading/ listening time carefully! St Mary’s has become as familiar and dear to me as my own home. I’m now left bereft, wondering what’s in store next for Max and friends and how long i will have to wait to find out! Highly recommend starting from the beginning of this series if you haven’t yet before you read this. You won’t regret it. It’s such a rich world and the characters are funny, lovable and sometimes infuriating. This one packs another punch. Love it!

Max in a tornado of chaos!
