About this listen
Hettie and Tilly set out to investigate an old crime and a spate of new murders. Why is Mavis Spitforce dressed as a pumpkin? Can Irence Peggledrip really talk to cats from the spirit world? Did Milky Myers murder his family on Halloween; longer ago now than anyone can remember?
These are the questions that the tabby duo must answer before the latest case for The No. 2 Feline Detective Agency can be solved.

I cannot speak highly enough of these books. They are just pure joy to listen to. Jenny Funnel is an excellent narrator. The characters, plots and names are just brilliant. Can't wait for the next! I love Hettie & Tilly!

Joy... Joy... Joy
I loved it, what's not to love. It's about 2 adorable cats running their detective agency and eating their own bodyweight in pies!! I would love to have attended the fireworks party in the Butters garden. Such wonderful escapism. Jenny Funnell brings the book to life and it's extremely difficult not to listen to these stories in one sitting. Joy!! Joy!!! Joy!!! I'm off to read no 3 in this utterly brilliant sequence of books. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Another excellent feline mystery
My cat now wants to move to 'Much Purring on the Rug', he's taken a lot more interest in this second book, probably all the mention of purring. These books are delightful, and this one had a very lovely ending.

imaginative
With unusual cat names like Rogan Dosh, Jalfreezie Dosh and Delirium Tremens. And set once again in the village of Much Purring on the Mat, this is a light hearted romp with a gloriously feline edge to it. The plot is evolving and the characters well described.

Another easy and entertaining listen
Another perfect performance for the series, by the narrator.
For me, the story had an excellent start, but the reveal and conclusion were missing something for me. I still enjoyed it, and it wasn't time wasted. But I preferred the 1st book and the 3rd installment has been my favourite so far.
