Summary

Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, creation of the CWA Diamond Dagger award-winning author Peter James, faces his most engrossing case yet in Left You Dead.

Niall and Eden Paternoster start their Sunday the same way they always do - with a long drive, a visit to a country house and a quick stop at the local supermarket on the way home.

But this Sunday ends differently - because while Niall waits and waits in the car park for Eden to pick up supplies, Eden never returns. She’s not waiting for him at home, and none of their family or friends have heard from her.

Gone without a trace, Niall is arrested on suspicion of her murder. When DS Roy Grace is called in to investigate, it doesn’t take long to realize that nothing in this case is quite as it seems....

Left You Dead is the seventeenth thrilling crime novel in the Roy Grace series. Enjoy more of the Brighton detective’s investigations with Dead Simple, Looking Good Dead and Not Dead Enough.

Now a major TV series starring John Simm.

Brilliant!!

After reading Books 1 to 16 in less than 6 weeks, I was really looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint. Fast moving with a twist and a shock or two. What a finale!!

Oh, this is really good!!!

This is one of those books you don’t want to end. I’ve even started listening to it for a second time, as I love Daniel Weyman’s narration and I’m not yet ready to let Roy Grace go! This book is full of twists and turns, with a few shocks and surprises along the way. I highly recommend it. I so hope Peter James has started writing his next Roy Grace novel!

Cracker!

This book lives up to Peter James high regard in the writing of crime thrillers, Grace and Branson are two great characters brought to life by great storylines expertly compiled by a writer at the top of his trade.

Another brilliant Grace story!

I throughly enjoyed this latest outing of Inspector Grace, even though I twigged fairly early what the first twist was the second came as a surprise. A great listen!

Peter James has excelled

What a cliff hanging story! Probably the best Roy Grace I have read and I’ve followed him from the beginning. A brilliant story read by the fantastic Daniel Weyman. There was an element of tying up all the loose ends from this and previous stories. I hope this does not herald the end of Roy Grace and have him tending his garden in marital bliss. That really would be a pity. Thank you Peter James
