The VA narration was brilliant
After watching the anime I was curious how the novel version was and I wasn't disappointed at all.

Stellar performance oh all levels
With already having a great story to work with, the voice of Cliff Kurt brings the characters of Mushoku Tensei to life in spectacular fashion, clear defined character voices for all the main cast and a wonderfully deep narrator voice for internal monologues.
This is a treat to listen to and such a calming one too, this is a definite win and brilliant piece for Seven Seas, I am definitely keeping up with this series as I was already a fan but the wonderful voice makes it a million times better.

Great to hear someone read to you.
Really nice to hear someone reading the book to you.
Been reading the LN as well and can not wait for more audiobooks of the later volume to come out.
The narration is pretty good as well. But I do find the character voices funny but enjoyable.

girl voices
I liked how detailed and easy to understand it was but as expected it lessoned the experience to not be able to see the emotions and the acting of emotions could have been better and understandably the girls voices sometimes sounded a bit strange and especially out of character for Roxy, but that might be a lot because of the anime

Really good adaptation!
This narration does justice to the light novel. I was crying at the end! 10/10 can't wait for all the volumes to get out!

degenerate protagonist overshadows a lively fantasy story
Mushoku Tensei's world is fleshed out to a decent degree and certain side characters have personalities (not particularly unique, but that's okay). The magic system gets some attention and the world feels moving and alive.
The narrator is amazing. His voices are varied, though his female voices are very much performed by a male. The main character is given a very appropriate, deep and heavy inner voice. The narrator reads all the lines with intent, and gives a lot of extra flavor to the way the protagonist ruminates in his head.
The main character is my main sticking point though. He is a 30+ y/o who repeatedly is put into sexually tinted interactions with people far (far) younger than him during down time. The interactions themselves are merely uncomfortable, but the inner monologue of the main character is absolutely harrowing, since he keeps wishing and fantasizing for more. My severe distain with him is not shared with the story, which keeps reintroducing this skin-crawling fan service.
Audible should place some 18+ warning tag on this with the appropriate disclaimer tags.
