The book is amazing again, I enjoy the characters and world building. However, in my opinion 20% of this book is waffle. It feels like the story doesn’t really progress, more so the characters. This isn’t an issue for a Lit RPG, however after 4 long books it is frustrating.
Narration was great as always!

Disclaimer I subscribe to the authors patreon and I gotta admit the upcoming arcs are awesome. Where the story is up to now well… no spoilers but it’s pretty good! Can’t wait to hear what voice travis does for Sandy.

A little light fingered
I am a fan of the series as it is entertaining and doesn't bore you too much with inner monologues from the main character a gripe I have with a few books in this genre. However I would point out that fans of 'Defiance of the Fall' series might notice the author has (being polite here) 'borrowed' a few ideas. Now don't get me wrong there will always be overlap and similar themes in the LITRPG world but here it is slightly more brazen.
it won't stop me listening as I do enjoy it but maybe he should dial back the more blatant 'homages'.
