Summary

Build. Evolve. Conquer. The dawn of the Troll Nation has begun....

Roark von Graf - former noble and hedge-mage, current mid-level mob in a MMORPG - has taken down the dungeon Lord of the Cruel Citadel, but the battle has only started.

Lowen, right hand to the Tyrant King, has come to Hearthworld, and he is building an army of his own. Worse, Lowen and company have taken over one of the most powerful dungeons in the game, The Vault of the Radiant Shield. Even as a Jotnar and a newly minted Dungeon Lord, Roark is supremely outclassed and he bloody well knows it. If he’s going to weather what’s to come and topple the Tyrant King, he’ll have to unlock the secrets of the stolen World Stone Pendant, master his new Hexorcist class, form some very unlikely allies, and most important...grief some heroes. Let the games begin!

From James A. Hunter, author of the litRPG epic Viridian Gate Online, and eden Hudson, author of Path of the Thunderbird and the Jubal Van Zandt Series, comes an exciting new litRPG, dungeon-core adventure you won’t want to put down!

A great story

Really enjoyed this series. It's an interesting take on the litRPG genre. Nick does his usual brilliance in his reading of the series. It's a must read for any fans of fantasy litRPG.

Unique!

One of the newest twists In rpg story writing I have listened to in ages. Genuinely enjoyed the characters and flow of the story. I think it has it all, might just be what you are after if you fancy something different from the norm but still keeping all the great elements of fantasy.

For the SALT

Wickedly bad as story line, the hero slang made me chuckle every time.

Some hero's are just bad ass!

I’ve waited too long

So the first two books were ok but I wasn’t so sure about buying the 3rd one and as I’ve come to realise, waiting was a mistake.
This book had quite a good amount of action as well as well as story profession. It greatly expands the relationship between Rorik and Zeera as well as Rorik and PawnerBoner (if that’s how you write his nickname), which was quite a surprise for me. One another thing that really appealed to me was that there was a lot happening but it all clearly led to that one point which was securing Troll nation and making sure it prospers. You wanna know what is the Troll Nation? Well go and read than.
(This is not a paid promotion or anything like that I simply liked the book and wanted people to know it)

Another Amazing Listen

So im a big can of this series as the ideas and characters behind it work so well and the team up of Hudson and Hunter are great.
This had me all ears open as i experienced it and of course this doesn't account for i have the book already but this is one of these series that must have an accompanying audio and so it does with the talenymrs of Podehl doing it justice.
Well recommended and enjoyed

Bacon is salt!

The three books that I have listened to so far have been some of the best hours audible hours to date.

Having had many years in rpg both board games and online, the writers have definitely scribed the feelings felt when both levelling and the pure 'griefing' elation of getting one up on stuck up a...., anyways, the books are fantastic.

Salt for the wounds, greatly implies there are many other stories that can come from the lead characters best friend and especially for those that love rpg they would know that the best adventures start in a tavern / Inn.

Keep it up authors and long may these worlds live!

Excellent Continuation

This series is quickly becoming a favourite, for how often it puts a smile on my face.
It's a well-written, excellently-narrated, fairly light but fun adventure, and one I'll definitely be listening to again in the future :D
