About this listen
In modern maternity systems, one in four women have their labor induced. Why Induction Matters provides a comprehensive, evidence-based guide to this common intervention. The induction process is explained in detail, and reasons for offering induction are discussed. Options related to inducing labor or choosing to wait are explored, and women's experiences are included throughout. The book aims to help parents make their own informed decisions about induction of labor.

Informative and detailed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really enjoyed listening to Why Induction Matters. There was lots of data shared but this was balanced with personal stories of people’s experiences of induced labour. I felt the book was well-balanced, with explanations of why it might be offered and the complexities of some of the medical issues that might influence recommendations alongside ways to plan for a positive birth experience.
Thoroughly recommend although some of the detailed data might be a bit overwhelming for pregnant people and partners. Great details for birth workers.
