Summary

Simon is the best delivery boy that Mr Edwards’s restaurant has ever had. He’s on time every time, and he’s gotten nothing but good reviews. But he needs more money.

His mother’s medical treatment won’t pay for itself, and his father is already working three jobs to try to make ends meet. But it might just be his lucky day: Mr. Edwards has another job for him.

It’s more delivery work, but not the usual kind. You might even say that it’s out of this world. Oh well. Beggars can’t be choosers, and the pay is fantastic.

Of course, it’s not going to be easy, and he does have to keep the whole thing secret. But come hell or high water, Simon is going to get the job done. It doesn’t matter if it’s warring demons, angry tree-folk, or ornery artificial intelligence, nothing is going to stop him from making his deliveries.

He’s not a normal delivery boy anymore—he’s a cosmic delivery boy.

It ain't Timmy, but it ain't bad either

A deliberate pizza boy power fantasy this is easily the most intentionally pure comedy work from Estrella so far. The Australian-ness of it seems slightly undercut by the lack of the prodigious swearing I associate with the natives of that country, but I suppose it does make it more accessible to an international audience.

A great experience

I was not sure what to expect with this but it was most enjoyable. Likeable characters, funny and some great world building I liked the greater insight into the demons.

The second delivery is not as good but I am so glad I listened to this.

The narrator did an excellent job and the author is very good. I hope there will be another book and more deliveries.

Very funny

It took me only about 1 minute to get used to the narrator's Aussie accent.

Enjoyed

This is subtly crazy. Concept very unusual. Title is descriptive so no spoilers from me.

Another Great Story Full Of Intresting World To Escape Into.

I only found this author last Christmas. Since then, I have already binged and re binged all their books. This book is fascinating and though the Two Necromancers series is my all time favourite (I need more Timmy and Spot in my life soon) This book would be a close second. I don't want to leave ant spoilers so all I will say is that I highly recommend it to anyone interested in syfi and fantasy.
I suffer from extreme anxiety and insomnia amongother things. This authers audiobooks with their fascinating plots, interesting quirky characters and worlds full of magic mystery and adventure have provided me with much needed escapism.

More of this please!

Was intending to savour this as I usually do with credit listens but have got through it in a day! Another fantastic, witty and imaginative take of a trope(s) from L.G. Estrella!

Mother to 3 children, Mum/Aunty to many more xxx

Altogether a fun light hearted listen with plenty of laughs. I listened to it in the background whilst going about my daily chores. There was a few parts that required my full concentration but not too many.
As I said it's a light hearted feel good story that ends with the possibility of a sequel or 2 to follow Simon's adventures delivering packages to far of places.
I would of liked a couple more of his adventures delivering in this book and I would prefer to have several shorter chapters rather than the 3 extremely long chapters this book has.
It's not suitable for younger children as some of the language and scenes refer to sex and violence. However when you listen to the book you'll appreciate that it's not actually a violent story and the scenes describing the bad guys getting killed aren't bad it's just that I can see some of the younger children getting a bit upset by them.
I'd recommend that either you listen to it yourself first like I do and determine whether or not you think it would upset your younger children.
Otherwise I'd suggest 10yr - 12yr with parents supervision or 13+ on their own.
My youngest daughter is 12 and I'll be letting her listen to it with myself as I know that she's quite sensitive and a hellhound regardless of the dangers they pose them having massive snarling fangs, acidic doggy drool and being covered in flames. Will still be a dog in her eyes.
Definitely worth a credit and your time. Everything from the amazing authors storyline to the talented narrator deserves the five stars I've given

World building perfect

I absolutely love this book, second favourite after her necromancer series (which I listen to constantly) the world building and exploration of the multiverse is on point which I can say being a MSc in multiple sciences and an enthusiastic esoteric researcher. The addition of cosmic Guinea pigs is a good explanation of a nigh omnipotent being as anything I have read by phd level scholars
