About this listen
In The Lost Girls, John Glatt tells the truly amazing story of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight - who were kidnapped, imprisoned, and repeatedly raped and beaten in a Cleveland house for over a decade by Ariel Castro - and their amazing escape in May 2013, which made headlines all over the world.
This audiobook has an exclusive interview with Castro's secret girlfriend, who spent many romantic nights in his house of horror without realizing that he had bound and chained captives just a few feet away. There are also revealing interviews with several Castro family members, musician friends, and neighbors who witnessed the dramatic rescue.

Powerful
This story is terribly harrowing, these three women have overcome the most horrendous crime inflicted on them. They are all incredibly strong, powerful women who should be recognised as hero’s.

An incredible story of survival, well written.
An astounding story of 3 brave, strong women, whose resilience knows no bounds. Brilliant writing style and very in depth, another great bit of re-telling by Glatt. Enjoy the voice too.

So sad but riveting
Reader was excellent at telling this truly horrific true story. I recommend this book , and throughly enjoyed it , though it is very sad and distressing in parts.

A incredible true life story that will make you sob
A harrowing story of three girls kept in captivity for over a decade. Taken hostage by a brutal, narcissist. They survived against all odds at the hands of this evil deluded being. My his soul rot in hell

A true life story - very sad but a good listen
loved this book, I enjoy listening to real life stories although very sad the outcome was as good as it could be. Not for those who struggle with abuse stories.

very good narration .true events
read fantastically well i was hooked since the first word. really grim sad and gripping graphic true story of a psychotic bad man doing horrible things. it goes into detail about who he was were he came from etc. then goes on to tell how he abused his partner using very grotesque and detailed accounts and graphic words ....it then describes all his victims individually and what happened to each 1. i love that it gave time frames and ages as they went along wich gives a clearer more accurate version of events.i was totally addicted to this terrifying story of true events thats took place. i even cryed at some points. i was heartbroken throughout. absolute must have in your library.
